Opportunity to become a partner of an ARC Industrial Transformation Training Centre

The Centre for Agricultural Economics and Development have joined forces with colleagues from QUT and UQ to form a new ARC ITTC called BITA; Behavioural Insights for Technology Adoption.

An Australian Research Council Industrial Transformation Training Centres (ARC ITTC) fosters close partnerships between university-based researchers and research end-users (industry) to provide innovative Higher Degree by Research (HDR) and postdoctoral training to build capacity.

The new BITA centre will have three research programs representing the three stages of innovation (conception and design, market translation, and evaluation) across three industry sectors (health and medical, food and agribusiness, and cyber-physical systems). It will provide a platform for partners to collaborate with senior academics, postdoctoral research fellows and PhD students to address shared challenges and promote common goals across industry sectors.

There is currently a call for cash partners to join BITA and collaborate with the Centre. This is a one-time exciting opportunity for your organisation to lead or participate in one or more collaborative research projects aligned to your organisation’s priorities around innovation,

supported by the capabilities of BITA. Offer closes July, 2022.

Some benefits of becoming a member include:

  • Enrolment into a Micro-credential of a staff member's choice

  • Tickets to BITA conference

  • Access to training workshops
