UWA CAED's Deputy Director, Dr Fiona Dempster, was invited to speak at the IOA's 17th Industry Forum held on 19th July 2023 at the UWA Club Auditorium.
The forum explored the topic 'Paving the way for the next generation of WA agriculture' and as usual the event was well attended, attracting over 200 attendees.
Dr Dempster gave her perspective on how researchers can best engage with farmers to maximise the impact of their work.
The UWA Institute of Agriculture Industry Forum provides an opportunity to hear different perspectives and experiences on the topics, participate in a panel discussion, and network over a catered sundowner.
